How to pay with USDC on Base
If you can send money in an app, you can buy Solo Newsletter OS. You pay $39 in USDC, plus a network fee that is usually a few cents.
- Get about $40 of USDC. Buy it in the Coinbase app or another exchange or wallet that supports the Base network. USDC is a dollar stablecoin: 1 USDC is designed to equal $1.
- Go to checkout and select “Get my order and exact amount”. You get an exact amount such as
39.004271USDC and a private order code. The extra digits add less than one cent and tell the store which payment is yours. - Send exactly that amount, on the network “Base”, in one transfer, to:0x8ca7ae7A69312a37a11bDA85b8D13b79e9De944eNot Ethereum, Solana or another chain: USDC sent on the wrong network may not arrive. The store must receive the exact amount. If your app takes its fee out of the amount, raise it so the amount received is exact. If your app won’t accept 6 decimal places, use a wallet app such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask or Rabby.
- Copy the transaction hash. Open the finished transfer in your app. Look for “transaction hash” or a link to Basescan. It starts with
0xand is 66 characters long. - Paste it at checkout and select “Check payment and download”. On the same device your order code is filled in for you. On another device, paste the order code too. The page checks the payment on Base, then your download starts.

Why an order code?
Every Base transaction is public, so a transaction hash on its own isn’t proof that you paid. Your order code stays private on your device, and the unique amount links your payment to your order. Together they mean nobody else can claim your download. Keep the order code as your receipt.
Why USDC instead of a card?
Paying in USDC means the download can unlock as soon as your payment confirms on the Base network. There is no account, no checkout form and no card details stored anywhere.
